Our studio is located on the campus of Placer High School, access is from College Way and the room number is 408 I am usually here every afternoon, but please call first to make sure I am not out on the trail with my camera!
ACTV is a Community Based Television station that depends upon members of the community to help run things. If you have any experience (or you are interested in learning) the art of recording a show, working sound boards, editing, etc. Please contact us. We are currently trying to create a “pool” of volunteers to help us with these and other tasks related to running a television station. For students, this is a wonderful opportunity to learn marketable skills while having fun with peers. While for seasoned veterans it is an opportunity to give back to the next generation by sharing your knowledge and skills at the same time meeting other like minded people. Let’s make this television station matter in Auburn by expanding our capabilities and reaching out to help each other.

Hello ACTV Viewers,
my name is Paula Johnston. I am the new GM at the ACTV studio. I am following in Melissa Holden’s footsteps, but she is a tough act to follow. Melissa is now working in her new position at an NBC affiliate station in Reno. Congratulations to Melissa for such an exciting opportunity.
I am still learning and ask for your patience as I try to muddle through all this new stuff! It is my goal to get things running as smoothly as Melissa has done for the last four years.
