101 Class:
Welcome To Community Access Television
Learn all the steps of becoming a producer at ACTV. This class focuses on all aspects of community television, from taping to editing to broadcasting. A walk through of the facility is included and an overview of the cameras and equipment available for checkout. Also included is a 5 minute live-to-tape shoot in our studio facility.
102 Class:
Basic Camera Techniques $20
Learn the basics of the video camera from buttons to basic composition. The first part of this class focuses on “in the studio” camera operation and etiquette. This class is required to check out cameras and equipment.
103 Class:
Studio Directing $50
This is a two part class. The first part focuses on teaching the technical as well as artistic techniques of directing. In the second part, you will direct a half-hour show, live-to-tape. Learn everything you need to know to produce a show from start to finish in this class! Class 102 is included in this class.
